We have established the "Central Research & Innovation Platform" — the Central Research Institute, Central Engineering Institute, Institute of Innovative Design, and Postdoctoral Research Station — as well as advanced labs and a smart manufacturing facility. Case 1: Launch of the LED "Carbon" exploration plan
In 2023, QSTECH, a subsidiary of CVTE, launched the LED "Carbon" exploration plan, establishing a carbon footprint system and building a "green full link" model that integrates energy-saving and environmentally friendly design concepts into the company's strategic development. It is estimated that the full range of products can help users save 12.73 million kWh of electricity annually, equivalent to planting 13,022 hectares of broad-leaved forest on Earth.
As a leading brand in LED display technology, QSTECH participated in drafting the "Minimum Energy Performance Standards and Energy Efficiency Grades for Displays" led by the National Technical Committee on Energy Foundation and Management Standardization (TC20) and was recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a "Carbon Neutrality Commitment Demonstration Unit". Currently, the company's latest generation of LED AIO machines, featuring innovative power management technology and dynamic backlight adjustment algorithms, has achieved China Energy Label Level 1 Certification.
Case 2: Actively Exploring the Power Electronics Business
Power electronics technology plays a key role in driving energy transition and intelligent development. Building on our technical expertise in component manufacturing, we have continued to increase investment in power electronics business. Centered around residential energy storage inverters, we uphold the vision of “Green Energy, Warm Living”and the mission of “Leading with Technology, Ensuring Quality, Making Electricity Use Worry-Free”, focusing on delivering high-efficiency, reliable, intelligent, and eco-friendly energy solutions.
We are actively conducting pilot projects for new energy storage systems. Through participation in electricity trading, data monitoring, automated optimization control strategies, and the development of intelligent data operation and maintenance platforms, we are building low-carbon industrial parks. By leveraging the EMS cloud platform, we monitor renewable energy generation and energy storage discharge, accumulate carbon credits, and participate in carbon trading. This effectively offsets the carbon footprint of industrial parks and promotes carbon reduction for individuals, enterprises, and society, contributing to the creation of a greener world.
Case 3: Smart Manufacturing Plant
Our smart manufacturing plant for interactive display and control products aligns with the national green factory standards. Throughout the planning, design, and construction processes, we fully integrated green and environmental protection principles, adopting Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools, eco-friendly construction techniques, and green building practices. The plant's prefabrication rate has reached 70.2%. In terms of energy utilization, solar photovoltaic panels have been installed on the rooftop of the podium building, with an expected annual power generation capacity of up to 2.2 million kWh. Additionally, our smart manufacturing plant is equipped with advanced online automated aging systems featuring energy recovery capabilities, achieving an energy recovery rate of up to 60%. Currently, multiple automated aging systems have been deployed across the factory's production lines. Under full-load operation, these systems can save up to 1,260 kWh of electricity per day, significantly reducing production energy consumption.
Encouraging Innovation
We have established a mature innovation and entrepreneurship incubation mechanism to encourage qualified innovative projects to implement employee stock ownership programs (ESOPs). This initiative aims to further stimulate employees' creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, align the interests of employees with those of start-up ventures, and promote shared growth and mutual success.
